Now Offering Online & Teletherapy
When relationships begin to take a turn, working with an objective professional offers new perspectives. Working together, we will help to identify challenges and seek mutually satisfactory solutions.
In Couple’s Counseling, you will learn new tools and practices so they become valuable assets for helping your relationship flourish and grow. Many different types of therapies will be offered and explored including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Relationship Therapy Level 3 Certified, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory. Through these methodologies you will learn to build your friendship and achieve greater intimacy.
To augment my Couples Counseling practice, I hold certification as a Sex Therapist from the American Society of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I also studied Neurobiology Couples Therapy with Dr. Stan Tatkin, the renowned author of Wired for Love and obtained a post-masters degree. With these skills, I help couples understand how the brain works and affects relationships. By understanding that the brain controls how we react, couples can learn to stop blaming themselves for problems in their relationships and replace shame and reactivity with compassion and kindness. They learn ways to self-calm and stay connected. Couples begin to prevent and help defuse conflict and build secure and loving relationships.
